Ketchup

I haven't had but one or so training sessions in the gym in the past week and a half due to a mountain run. Adam came down from Duluth, MN and stayed for about twelve days with intentions of seeing some of Colorado's finest mountains. We covered a hell of a lot of miles and elevation gain during that time with heavy packs on a majority of the time. It surely did not seem like I was taking a break from training but I kept up on joint mobility and it worked wonders as always.

During the time Adam was here we spent three days in the San Juan Mountain Range focusing on Potosi Peak and Twilight Peak, a day at Quandary Peak and a day and a half at Eleven-Mile dry tooling and rock climbing. It was a vacation of diversity.

The San Juan trip was epic, Quandary was tragic ( http://summitdaily.com/article/20080613/NEWS/514280954 ) and the dry tooling at Eleven-Mile was very educational. All in all it was some of the most fun I have had in a long time. It was good to see Adam and get the old crew back together again. He put it best when he said there are no friends like the ones you grew up with. Amen to that, brother.
